He is survived by: his wife Ida Hochstedler of Kalona; his children, Paul Helmuth (Carol) of Milford, IN, Eileen Mullet (Arlen) of Rochester, IN, Marilyn Borntrager (Lynn) of Kalona, Mark Helmuth (Kathryn) of Kalona, Ruth Yoder (Nathan) of Little Suamico, WI and Nona Miller (Toby) of Kalona; and his siblings, Leon Helmuth of Windsor, MO, Susie Ropp (Jake) of Kalona, Verna Ropp (Wilbur) of Kalona, Mary Jane Ropp (Norman) of Kalona, Dorothy Ropp (Cecil) of Ava, IL and Ruth Anna Mast (Mahlon) of Kalona. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
