We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ellen Elizabeth Hochstedler of Kalona, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Lee and Mabel Lubell Spenner (Wallace); her husband Donald Hochstedler; and her sister-in-law Karen Spenner. She is survived by: her children, Duane Hochstedler (Julie Cole) of Kalona and Diane Hochstedler (Tod Kahler) of Kalona; her grandchildren, Michael Callahan (Brianna) of Washington and Hannah Fifi (Pascal) of Johnston; her great grandchildren, Amani Fifi, Karsyn and Emersyn Callahan; and her brothers, John Spenner (Arlene) of Riverside, Robert Spenner (Janet) of Riverside and Donald Spenner of Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kalona Mennonite Church (902 6th St, Kalona, IA 52247). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County.
