He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Gingerich and Viola Gingerich (Miller); his parents-in-law, John A. and Effie Miller; his granddaughter Melanie Gingerich; his siblings, Clarence, Paul Jr., Marvin and Laura Keener; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Miller, Chester Peachey, Frank Pottorff and Jane Gingerich.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Miller; his children, Reagan Gingerich (Lynn), Ryan Gingerich (Sue), Jerilyn Martin (Dan) of Lititz, PA, Gwen Thomas (Lendyl) of Enterprise, OR and Craig Gingerich (Lynette); and his siblings, Marlin Gingerich (Nancy) of Riverside, Emery Gingerich of Kalona, Mary Gingerich of Charlotte, NC, Erma Peachey of Trout Run, PA and Barbara Pottorff of Kalona.

Social distancing and masks will be required.

In recent years, Eldon suffered from both Parkinson's and Dementia.
