It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Rhodes of Kalona, Iowa, who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner M. Miller and Eliza Miller (Yoder); her husband Eldon Rhodes; her son-in-law John Stoltzfus; her sister Velma Yoder; her granddaughter-in-law Heidi Siemens-Rhodes; and her great grandchild Willa Siemens-Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Stoltzfus of Goshen, Dale Rhodes (Charlene) of Riverside, Dean Rhodes (Becky) of Iowa City and Lana Mills (John) of Creede. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial funds have been established for East Union Mennonite Church, Pleasantview Home Building Fund and Iowa City Hospice.
