Daniel E. Yoder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel E. Yoder (Kalona, Iowa), who passed away on February 25, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Yoder and Elva Yoder (Kauffman); his wife Amelia Swantz; his daughter Carol; his son-in-law Delwyn Hershberger; his siblings, Mary Yoder, Delmar and L. David Yoder (Leona); and his nephew Leon Yoder.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Widmer (Hershberger) of Iowa City and Lowell Yoder of Kalona; his grandchildren, Nicole Costello (Matthew) of Durand, WI, Michael Hershberger of Kalona and Joshua Widmer of Williamsburg; his great grandchildren, Lydia and Holland Costello; and his sister-in-law Susie Yoder Hostetler of Kalona.
A memorial fund has been established for Fairview Mennonite Church, Pleasantview Home, and Mennonite Disaster Service.
