He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Coblentz and Barbara Coblentz (Gingerich); and his siblings, Dwight, Joe, Elijah, Ruby and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Yoder of Kalona, IA; his children, Rebecca Miller (Jim) of Sugarcreek, OH, Alvin Coblentz (Karla) of Kalona, IA, Karla Gingerich (Zendall) of Midford Center, OH, Glenn Coblentz (Viola) of Wauseon, OH and Norvin Coblentz (Mary) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister Fannie Coblentz of Kalona, IA; and his sister-in-law Susie Coblentz of Bloomfield, IA.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Sunnyside Church Missions and Hospice of Washington County.
