She is survived by: her husband Melvin "Mel" Barthelman; her children, Kim Barthelman (Brenda) of Kalona, Colton (Skyler), Mitchell, Kelli Pitz (Jeff) of Dubuque, Jessica Pitz, Caleb Pitz (Brittany), Tyler Pitz, Christi Pitz, Scott Barthelman (Kimberly) of Kalona, Jared (Molly), Justin (Olivia), Brody (Katie), Ciarra Gonzalez (Joaquin), Anna Papike (Luka), Troy Barthelman (Heather) of Sigourney, Autum, Summer and Rain; her siblings, Richard Grimm (Pam) of Wellman, Dennis Grimm (Mary) of Kalona, Donna Swartzendruber (Larry) of Kremling, CO and Shirley Helmuth (John) of Kalona; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Grimm of Amana, Pam Barthelman McGriff (Dick) and Charles Barthelman (Willie). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
