Charlotte Lackender Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Lackender (Kalona, Iowa), who passed away on July 28, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Russell; her brother Alan Yoder (Esther) of Fort Wayne; and also Joan. She is survived by: her parents, Omar R. and Emma C. Yoder (Petsel); her children, Douglas Lackender (Jo), Janet Wilson (Mark) and Dennis Lackender (Jeanette); and her son-in-law Jack Harshberger of Durango. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sharon Center United Methodist Church, Pleasantview Home, or Iowa City Hospice.
