It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Margaret Boyd of Kalona, Iowa, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stumpf and Gertrude Stumpf (Sommers). She is survived by: her husband J. D. of Kalona; her children, Sonja Triggs of Kalona, Greg Boyd (Connie) of Iowa City, Ron Boyd (Jonnine) of Kalona and Diana Kvach of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Lara Henderson (Drew), Alyson Cecil (Cam), Danielle Johnson (Kyle) and Jayci Kvach; and her great grandchildren, Boyd, Theo, Faye and Weston.
A memorial fund has been established for the Kalona Volunteer Fire Department and the Kalona First Responders.
