It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Nisly of Kalona, Iowa, born in Bremen, Indiana, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Schrock and Sarah Schrock (Yoder); her siblings, Mary Miller, Judy Miller, Perry Schrock, Olen Schrock, Elmer Schrock and Edwin Schrock; and her son-in-law Jacob Schmidt.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Nisly of Kalona; her children, Roger Nisly of San Diego, CA, Regina Choate of Kalona, Sylvia Pierce (Michael) of Poway, CA, Suzanne Schmidt of Grants Pass, OR, Marjorie Forbes (Phil) of Kalona and Daniel Nisly of Kalona; and her siblings, Sylvia Ropp and Leo Schrock of Kalona. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County.
