She was predeceased by: her parents, Paris Miller and Lydia Miller (Briskey); her husband John D. Hershberger; her son Delwyn; and her siblings, Henry (Ella), Robert, Milton, Owen, Charles "Chip" Miller, Anna Peiffer and Marilyn Bender.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Hershberger (Cindy) of Kalona and Merlin Hershberger (Brenda) of Wellman; her daughter-in-law Jane Widmer (Kent) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Nicole Costello (Matthew), Michael Hershberger, Blake Hershberger (Jenni), Kyra Gardiner (James), Tommy Hershberger, Megan Holmes (Jared), Taylor Hershberger, Pam Vercande (Dan), Emily Case (Brendan), Melissa Yoder (Garon) and Byran Hershberger (Courtney); her sister Sally Hershberger (John) of Kalona; and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Miller of Kalona, Karen Miller of Iowa City and Derald Bender of Kalona. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home and Hospice of Washington County.
