It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valeda Faye Abbey (Joice, Iowa), who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Ohlmann and Ethel Ohlmann (Shrader); her husband Gene Abbey; her son John; and her sister-in-law Marjorie McKee.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Abbey of Lake Mills; her grandchildren, Allison Long (James) of Findlay, Ohio, Erica Klipping of Parker, Colorado, Scott Abbey (Sophia) of Scarville and Drake Abbey of Lake Mills; her great grandchildren, Ella, Braden, Owen, Violet and Ada; and her siblings, Rosetta Bidne, Gary Ohlmann (Karen) and Roy Ohlmann (Beverly). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Valeda Abbey memorial fund in care of the family.
