He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Inez Irene Daub (Hathaway); his wife Sharon Andrews; his children, Stephen Daub, Anthony Daub and Laura Hinrichs; his granddaughter Stephania Daub; and his sister Maxine Voy.

He is survived by: his children, Lois Peterson (Jon) of Dayton, Julia Knecht (Steve) of Charles City, John Daub, Jr. (Jené) of Traer and Christine Evans (Thaddeus) of Joice; and his siblings, Dale Daub (Diana) of Phoenix, Arizona and Kay Brinkman (Dean) of Greene. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
