He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nelson and Arlene Nelson (Ferley); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Fern Willand; and his siblings, Marilyn King, Larry Nelson and Dennis Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Willand; his children, Rachel, Anthony and Jeremy Nelson (Christina); his grandchildren, Broderick, Brooklynn, Brayden of Epworth, IA and Rachel Nelson (Jeff Benesch); his great grandchildren, Madison and Ava of Joice, IA; his grandson Anthony Nelson (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Camdon and Calvin of Lake Mills, IA; his sister Julie Nelson; his sister-in-law Bernette Nelson; and also Clarence. He is also survived by friends, including playing with his grandchildren, playing cribbage with his friends.
