He is survived by: his wife Linda Danielson; his children, Stan Hyde (Vicki), Brenda Marshall (Dick), Steve Hyde, Sharon Hyde and Janet Bianchi (Rick); his grandchildren, Heather Brannan Harris, Amanda Brannan McPartlin, Skyler Hyde, Anthony and Dominic Bianchi; his great grandchildren, Michael, Sydney, Nick Acri, Annie, Olivia, Finnley, RJ, Sean Mcpartlin, Julissa Rodriguez and Liam Bianchi; and his daughter Julie.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston and the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum.
