She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lynch and Myrtle Lynch (Peters); her husband Edward A. Van Dyke; and her siblings, Fern M. Shoemaker, Beulah Harrison, Eula Siwek, Kathryn Ventura, James Patrick, Thomas, Kenneth and James Robert Lynch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
