He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Shirley Pepper (Babcock); his wife Marcia; his daughter Heather Pepper Halterman (Tom); his grandsons, Will and Zach Geiger; his father Russell Pepper; and his siblings, Patti Houar (John), Craig (Becky) and Bill (Dee). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
