She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord "Gay" and Elaine Barnett. She is survived by: her friend Doug Wirt; her adoptive daughter Marla; her husband Doug Wirt; her daughters, Paulette Sale of Murfreesboro, TN, Stacey Worthey of Des Moines and Marla Wirt of Johnston; her siblings, Ann Canady of Des Moines, Jim Barnett (Brenda) of Des Moines, Jeff Barnett of Waukee and Larry Barnett (Bill Jackson) of Ankeny; and her grandchildren, Dustin Sale, Kate Sale, Jacob Gooden, Jesse Gardner and Libby Gardner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
