He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mahoney and Frances Mahoney; his wife Sharon "Sharri" Mahoney; and his brother Bernard Mahoney. He is survived by: his children, Erin Yacinich (Pat) of Adel, Iowa, Tim Mahoney (Shannon) of Arlington Heights, Illinois and Mike Mahoney (Pam) of Waukee, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jessie (Rob), Jake (Jordan), Shea, Luke, Jack, Aubrey, Zoey and Bailey; his great grandchild Tommy; and his siblings, Rosemary Mahoney, Madeline Storey (Rick), Ann Culver (Ron), Cathy McAninch (Fred Windhorst), John Mahoney (Lisa), Teresa Graham (Floyd) and Patti Knight (Craig). He is also survived by friends; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
