With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Gilbert (Johnston, Iowa), born in Mellen, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 6, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gilbert and Clara Gilbert (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughters, Linda Litterer (Tom Buhrow) and Nancy McWilliams (Gordon); his grandchildren, Sarah Rojas (Miguel), Mark Litterer (Sandhya), Rachel Litterer, Megan Seeland (Kelsey), Melissa Davis (Chuck), Molly Martin (Kenny) and Benjamin Brackett; and his great grandchildren, Samarah Rojas and Ethan Martin. He is also survived by four sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Presbyterian Church.
