She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Burns and Ruby Burns; her daughter Carolee Sommers (Robert); and her siblings, Valda Farmer (Herbert) and Keith Burns.
She is survived by: her spouse Hiley Ward; her children, Dianne Ward (James Mulholland), Marcy Valenty (Greg), Laurel Boures (Jim), Suzi Galarde (Tim), Stephen Bird and David Bird; her grandchildren, Mary, Jay, Jenna, Dean, Christopher, Anna, Aly, Adam of Ashton, A. J., Grace and Riley; her nephew Duane Farmer; and her nieces, Jeanice McDonald, Patricia Sanders, Frances Daniel, Eleanor Cobb and Elizabeth Daniel. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
