It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Ray Burkett (Johnston, Iowa), born in Dallas, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Burkett and Edna Burkett (Smothers); his wife Shirley Paulson; his daughter Kristine Burkett-Mitchell; his grandson James Quinnett; and his sister Judy LaFee.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Quinnett of Tempe, AZ, Cynthia Burkett-Dingwall (Ian) of Vicksburg, Charles Eugene Burkett of Johnston, IA and Susan Perry (Jack) of Norwood, MO; and his sisters, Jean Whitten of Adel, IA and Joyce Paulson of Ankeny, IA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, six great great grandson.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Brethren Cemetery near Dallas Center.
