It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Calkins of Johnston, Iowa, born in Manly, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forrest Calkins and Marcella Calkins; his wife Peggy (Peggy) of Grafton; his children, Mark Calkins of Ankeny, IA and LeeAnne Fox (Sam) of Bonita Springs, FL; and his grandchildren, Ryan Ford (Roni), Dustin Ford, Kelsey Riley (Andrew), Rachel Calkins, Sara Himelson (Andrew) and Carsyn Calkins. He was also cherished by his 5 great grandchildren.
