He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Long (Miller). He is survived by: his father Ray Long (Patt) of Ankeny, IA; his wife Karen; his children, Samantha Long of Houston, TX and Eric Long of Johnston, IA; his siblings, Dwight Long (Lynn) of Johnston, IA and Jody Gibbs (Bob) of Rhodes, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Verl Van Riessen of Cape Coral, FL and Mark Van Riessen (Susan) of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
