It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen DeVan of Johnston, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marie DeVan; his children, Allen Micheal DeVan, Jr., Camron Kealii Ramsey, Madison Elizabeth Nelson and Anthony Michael DeVan; his parents, Anita Warren and Billy DeVan; his parents-in-law, John Wolfe (Chris) and Renee Cook (James); his siblings, Billy A. DeVan (Amanda L. Zimmerman), Amanda E. Salah (Salah A. Salah) and Marcus DeVan; his siblings-in-law, Ian K. Ensell (Vanessa), James M. A. Cook (Makayla), Christy E. Moreland (Ryan), Nicole C. Ensell, Monique M. Beighley (Wes) and Toni L. Cook; his grandmother Barbara DeVan; his godson Maverick Morgan; and his aunt Diane Warren. He is also survived by aunts; uncles; nephews; nieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Revival Center Church of God in Christ (3816 36th St, Des Moines, IA 50310). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Glendale Cemetery (3601 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310).
