Albert Laurence Jennings Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Laurence Jennings of Johnston, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Witt Jennings and William Allen Jennings (W. A.); his wife Ann Louise Woodard; his siblings, Georgene Petersen and Ralph; and his great grandchild Leo Walter.

He is survived by: his children, John (Cristiane) of Orlando, FL, Bob (Janet), Palm, Julie Walter (Dave) of Johnston, IA and Heidi Kluzak (Rick) of Taylors Falls, MN.; his grandchildren, April Maszy of McKinney, TX, Tim (Karrie) of Orlando, FL and Aspen of Orlando, FL.; his sister-in-law Jeanne (Ralph) of Johnston, IA; his brother Donald (Nancy) of Altoona, IA.; and also, Elizabeth and Alice Maszy of McKinney. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Open House. He and Ann lived in the house he proudly built on the north side of Des Moines for 65 years until they moved to Brio of Johnston during the COVID-19 pandemic.
