He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Peterson and Ida Peterson (Sunsbo); his siblings, Marvin Arling (Madeline), Leslie and Naomi Sabby (Lloyd); and his siblings-in-law, Lee Sabby and Bette Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thomason of Jewell; his children, Travis (Judy) of Jewell, Rodney of Fort Dodge, Robin Sandager (Peder) of Corpus Christi, TX and Kathy (Dennis) of Humboldt, IA; his siblings, Sterling Peterson, Stanley Peterson (Maryls) and Ina Sabby; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth and June Peterson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
