He is survived by: his wife Emma Bella Johnson of Jewell; his children, Gordon Johnson (Sue Ellen) of Bettendorf and Diane Blackman (Paul) of Sioux Falls; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Johnson of Eagan, MN; his granddaughters, Stephanie Schleiss, Lindsay Laurich, Katie Pelkey, Amanda Johnson, Jennifer Petersen, Sarah Whitehead and Kendra Fosdick; his sister Fran Kirkpatrick of Denton, TX; and his sister-in-law Lucille Johnson of Waukee.
