He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Nicholas Ehr and Marie Dorothy Ehr (Staebell); and his brothers, Francis Ehr and Donald Ehr. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Ehr; his children, Patricia Balko of Cottage Grove, MN and Michael Ehr (Susan) of Jesup, IA; his siblings, Irvin "Jim" Ehr (Patricia) of Independence, Mary Vogel (Richard) of Independence and Marlene Choudoir of Oro Valley, AZ; and his sister-in-law Jeanene Ehr of Jesup. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic School and St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup.
