He was predeceased by: his father James Francis Blunt; and his siblings, James and Sarah Riley. He is survived by: his mother Delphine Ann Blunt (Meisch) of Jesup, IA; his former wife Mary Amling; his children, Philip Blunt (MariaVeronica Rodriguez) of Houston, TX and Valerie Spielman (Pete) of Westbrook, MN; his grandchildren, Haley, Alexander and Tyson; his siblings, Dennis Blunt (Christine) of Waterloo, IA, John Blunt (Laurie) of Ladysmith, WI, Margaret Hart of Keller, TX, LuAnne Kinsella of Bethany, OK, Joan Campisi (Michael) of Gretna, NE and Patricia Goodwin (Matthew) of Des Moines, IA; his sister-in-law Julie Blunt of Jesup, IA; and his close friend Alma Huck of Waterloo, IA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
