With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nevamae L. Erpelding of Jesup, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur D. Beving and Evelyn A. Beving (Schultz); her children, Warren Erpelding and Connie Soppe; her brothers, Duane Beving and Russell Beving; her brother-in-law Karl Koch; and her nephews, Kirk Koch and John Beving.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Erpelding; her daughters, Brenda Schmit (Clyde) of Jesup, IA and Teresa Merkel (Randy) of Jesup, IA; her son-in-law Tom Soppe (Kathy) of Jesup, IA; her grandchildren, Brandy Furler, Brad Schmit, Casey Schmit, Jared Merkel, Tricia George, Adam Soppe, Erica Reed and Amy Faulkner; and her sister Ethel Ann Koch of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be directed to Camp Courageous, Jesup Ambulance Association, and the Jesup Library Association.
