He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Helmuth Eder and Bertha Mae Eder (Wiseman); his wife Helen Ilene Chase; his son Jon Michael Eder; his granddaughter Sarah Elyse Eder; and his brothers, Gary Dean Eder and Ron Eder.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Eder (Margie) of Kennewick, WA, Dale Eder of Jesup, Jamison Eder of Jesup and Diana Easton of Strawberry Point, IA; and his sister LaVonda Sue Meyer (Gary) of Guttenberg, IA.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
