He is survived by: his parents, Michael Ray Vandenburg and Leslee Jane Vandenburg (Beck) of Manchester, IA; his former wife Kristine Ann Priebe; his wife Kristi Vandenburg of Jesup, IA; his children, Briana Vandenburg of Independence, IA and Kristopher Vandenburg of Jesup, IA; his siblings, Jason Vandenburg (Amber) of Jesup, IA, Celina Johnson (Robert) of Jay, OK and Shannon Walderbach (Daniel) of Des Moines, IA; his grandfather Gerald Vandenburg of Cedar Rapids, IA.; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Barker of Dyersville, IA; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Priebe of Luxenburg, IA, Mark Priebe, Jr. (Amanda) of Guttenberg, IA and Renee Priem (Loren) of Highland Ranch, CO.; and his pet Ava. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the church and to the family for a scholarship fund established in Josh's name.
