He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne LeRoy McGill and Marie Agnes Wieser; his son Brett McGill; his brothers, Randy McGill and Gary McGill; and his daughter-in-law Carrie McGill.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris McGill (Wendy) of Independence, IA, Randall McGill (Tina) of Hutchinson, MN and Jason McGill of Independence, IA; his grandchildren, Renee McGill, Rick McGill, Trevor McGill, Josh McGill, Matt McGill, Macee McGill, Kaleb McGill, Braeden McGill, Averie McGill, Austin Cartwright, Haley Frush and Corbin Frush; his siblings, Linda Borrett (John) of Cape Coral, FL and Dean McGill (Gwen Decker) of Independence, IA; his sister-in-law Mary McGill; and his daughter-in-law Judy McGill of Independence. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Darrell E. Davis Adult Day Center in Independence, IA, where his granddaughter, Renee, loves to socialize.
