He is survived by: his wife Louise Rose Crogveek of Jesup; his children, Karen VanderStoep (Andrew) of Hollandale, MN and Mark Burger of Jesup; his daughter-in-law Mary Jean Burger of Jesup; his grandson Josh Huisenga; his great grandchildren, Boyd and Jurnee; and his sister Alice Meyer of Cedar Falls, IA..

Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic School and to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
