It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Schommer of Jesup, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Danehy and Sharon R. Danehy (Nutt); and her daughter Brittany M. Schommer. She is survived by: her husband Gary Schommer of Jesup, IA; her children, Jenni Roth (Chad) of Independence, IA and Chelsi Masteller (James); her grandchildren, Hannah, Harper Roth, Zoey and Lucy Masteller; and her siblings, William Danehy Jr. (Carol), Sue Danehy of Aurora, IA and Melinda Tielebein (Kim).
