She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence William Kauten and Barbra Mathilda Kauten (Mihm); her siblings, Rosemary Johnson and Jimmy Kauten; her brother-in-law Deacon Richard Gehrke; her nephew Bobby Rosenbaum; and her niece Sheri Henning (Rosenbaum).
She is survived by: her siblings, William Kauten (Joann) of Fayette, IA, Francis Kauten (Mary) of Fayette, IA, Ralph Richard Kauten (Erica) of Madison, WI, Margaret Rosenbaum (Robert) of Thorton, AR, Teresa Harker (Boyce) of Palm Desert, CA, Mary Lincoln (Jim) of Oelwein, IA, Barbara Gehrke of Oelwein, IA and Helen Girard of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her brother-in-law Johnnie Johnson of Viroqua, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the church as well as to the family to be given to multiple organizations.
