He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Pautsch and Elsie Pautsch (Jacobs); his wife Mary Penniman; and his siblings, Irene Teut (Kermit), Lester Pautsch (Arlene), Lavina Wiebers (Ernie), Lloyd Pautsch, Orpha Jensen (Burdell) and Marian Boeck (Russell).
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Ploen (Steve) of Kingsley, IA, Brad Pautsch (Sally) of Sioux City, IA, Kurt Pautsch (Amy) of Grand Rapids, MN, Terry Pautsch (Kim) of Gowrie, IA and Ryan Pautsch (Eve) of Denver, IA; his grandchildren, Eric Ploen, Aaron Ploen (Kristi), Katlynn Farah (Jama), Joe, Mary, Reggie Pautsch, Elizabeth Else (Lucas), Laura Hudinsky (Jake), Katherine, Anna Pautsch, Melissa Pautsch (Hunter), Grant, Miles and Henry Pautsch; and his siblings-in-law, Jennie Pautsch, Melvin Zollman, Robert Penniman (Brigitta), Larry Ladwig, Mike Penniman (Susie) and Fred Penniman (Merlene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other extended family members and friends.
