He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nordyke and Maud Nordyke (Smith); and his siblings, Walter, Kenneth, Dave, Richard, Robert, William "Bill", Madeline, Helen and Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Reinier; his son Timothy Nordyke of Kirkville, IA; his granddaughters, Stephanie Collins, Ericka Singer and Amy Nordyke; and his siblings, Delbert (Mary Ann) of Abingdon and Mary Day (Mike) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
