He is survived by: his children, Kristi Marie Wilson (Todd Fagen) of Jefferson, Anthony Richard Pille of Jefferson and Todd Andrew Pille (Katie) of Stratford; his sister Mary Catherine "Kay" Lipke (Cleo Underwood); his aunt Marjorie Greene of Ames; his nephew Louis Rand (Lynda) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Harper Violet Pille, Paisley Joann Pille and Carly Marie Pille; his girlfriend Sherri Reimer of Perry; his girlfriend's son Brett Reimer (Rachel) of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Lauren Reimer, Claire Reimer and Grant Reimer.
