He was predeceased by: his wife Penny Eklund. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Eklund and Mary Ann Eklund (Channel) of Libertyville; his children, Cole Boatright (Katie) of Fairfield and Claire Simplot (Clint) of Springfield, TN; his grandchildren, Benett, Brice, Balen Boatright and Finn Simplot; and his brothers, Mike Eklund (Geri) of Libertyville and Craig Eklund (Kathy) of Fairfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
