He is survived by: his wife Wanda Anderson (Golden); his sons, Jerry McDowell (Kathy Davidson) of Jefferson, Bob McDowell (Jeannie) of Des Moines, Bill McDowell (Dannelle) of Jefferson and Craig Anderson of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Bobby McDowell Jr. of Ankeny, Sandy Harlow of Newton, Ryan McDowell (Jessica) of Council Bluffs, Collin McDowell of Nevada, Conner McDowell of Carroll, Cheyanne Anderson of Jefferson, Joseph Anderson of Ames, Chiara Anderson of Jefferson, Ashley Humphrey (Andrew) of Carroll, James Silbaugh of Oklahoma and ReAnna Silbaugh of Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Mason Rockwell, Harper Humphrey, Hunter Humphrey, Jaxson Harlow, Aubrey McDowell and Bennett McDowell; and his sister Betty Lindgren (Dick) of Grimes.
