He is survived by: his siblings, Michael (Naomi) of Grapevine, TX, Richard Berning of Carroll, Karen Smith (Tom Smith) of Chester, VA, Sharon (Keith Stickrod) of Carroll and Scott Berning of Pella. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and cousins.
