He is survived by: his children, Bill Kanke (Lori) of St. Joseph, MO. and Brenda Poole (Greg) of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.; his former wife Kathleen Gooden; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Alan Perenick, Ethan (Chelsea), Matthew, Phillip Kanke, Sara and Dayle Poole; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jude, Benjamin Kanke and Jenna Strable; and his stepchildren, Amy Strable (Brian) of Ankeny and Tony Strable (Mila).
