She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Coates and Sarah Coates (Cox); and her sisters, Myrl, Eleanor and Pauline.
She is survived by: her husband Lynn McConnell of Jefferson; her sons, Lyle McConnell (Candice) of Mediapolis, James McConnell (Susan) of Ogden and Fay McConnell (Melody) of Stanley; and her sister Barbara Murray of Idaho. She is also survived by seven grandsons; 13 great-grandchildren.
