He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Coop and Fern Coop (Godwin); his wife Margaret Elizabeth Simmons (Betty); and his siblings, Bernard, Roger Coop and Sharon (Smith).
He is survived by: his children, Mike Coop of Climax Springs, MO, Steve Coop (Jolaine) of Brighton, Marcy Vensel (David) of Bettendorf, Shelia Stanley of Moline, ILL, Lynne Leacox (Eric) of Blue Grass and Russ Coop of Fairfield; and his sisters, Josephine (Chambers), Colee (Hospers) and Rose (Hendricks) of Fairfield. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be A Celebration of Life service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Antioch Church or Antioch Cemetery.
