He was predeceased by: his parents, Gesina Christina (Eilers) and Chris J. Brinkman; his stepfather Bill Schneiderman; and his grandson Taylor Lehr. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Lantz; his children, Michelle Lehr of Janesville, IA, Kris Brinkman of Waverly, IA and Sara Mullinix (Brad Johnson) of Hazleton, IA; his grandchildren, Shelby, Dawson, Lillian and Jameson; and his brother Darrel Brinkman (Janell) of Hampton, IA..
