She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Kannegieter and Marie Kannegieter; and her sister Norma McGurn. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Roth of Joseph's Church; her children, Doretta Donahue (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, Darol Roth (Dee) of Waverly, Roger Roth (Pam) of Cedar Falls, Duane Roth (Shelly) of Janesville, Larry Roth (Trisia) of Cedar Falls, Mark Roth of Waterloo and Sara Dale (Joshua) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Christina, David, Jonathan, Sharon, Matthew, Daniel, Bryana, Morgan, Zackary, Grant, Grace, Corbin and Mikayla; and her brother Steven Kannegieter. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
