He is survived by: his wife Leslie Smith (Eastman) of Finchford; his daughters, Kathryn Quall (Bryan) of Lake Villa and Rachel Smith of Falcon Heights; and his siblings, Cheryl Nissen (Al), Caryl Hippen (Galen), Kevin Smith and Scott Smith (Amy). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
