We bid farewell to Donald Joseph Westmeyer of Janesville, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Donald Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Westmeyer and Velma Westmeyer (Roberts); his wife Lola Strom; his great grandchild Leland Robinson; and his siblings, Sarah Westmeyer and Russell Westmeyer.

He is survived by: his children, Steve Westmeyer (Pat) of Shell Rock, Candy Hart (Tom) of Readlyn and Jeff Westmeyer of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Broc Westmeyer (Allison), Wesley, Mic Westmeyer, Jenae Waters (Travis), Laura Negen, Amanda Robinson (Eric), Tracy Hahn (Stacy) and Reints; and his sister-in-law Betty Westmeyer. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in his name and may be directed to the family.
